In Canada, the dry pea supply is forecasted to increase by around 35% in 2023. This supply increase may decrease the price by 20% compared to the 2021/22 season. China is the biggest market for Canadian dry peas, and Canada exported 630K tons of dry peas to China in 2022. In 2022, Canada exported 180K tons to Bangladesh, one of the biggest export markets for dry peas.
