Sugarcane harvest expected to fall by up to 5% in Brazil

A drop in the sugarcane harvest of between 4 and 5% is expected in the south-central region of Brazil, the main sugar and ethanol-producing pole in the country. The drop is related to climate issues, mainly the long drought that occurred between October and November 2020.
