Turkey's spice exports increased by 5% in 2021 compared to the previous year and reached USD 212 million

In 2021, the highest exports were made in thyme, bay leaves and cumin. Thyme had a share of 30% in total spice exports with USD 64 million. It was followed by bay leaf with an export of USD 44 million and cumin with an export of USD 11 million. It is estimated that there will be an increase of around 10% in spice exports this year. It is predicted that the spice export, which is USD 212 million, will reach USD 250 million in 2-3 years.
