High tide limiting fishing activities in central and eastern part of Indonesia

A tuna supplier based in Eastern Indonesia, the Moluccas island, informed about ongoing high tide in the sea during December. The situation is giving high difficulty in the fishing activity, and seawater is flooding into fish landing sites at the beach and other locations near the seaside. Another supplier in Jakarta stated seawater flooding in major fish landing and processing sites, namely Muara Baru and Muara Angke. The same situation is happening in Manado city, the center of tuna catch in Sulawesi island. Indonesia is experiencing a high intensity of rain in most of the country parts in December.
