In Australia, there has been a total of 215,109 tons of Navels and Mandarins exported, compared to 236,856 tons exported during Mid-November in 2021. Breaking that down further, Navel Oranges are at 141,055 tons, compared to 158,541 tons in 2021 at W47. This decrease has been due to Albedo at the beginning of the season, a shortage of pickers, and heavy rain. Mandarins, however, have faired a lot better at 74,054 tons being exported, down from 78,315 tons in the same period (January-November) in 2021. The top five export markets for Navels have been Japan (33,908 tons), China (23,066 tons), Hong Kong (24,307 tons), Vietnam (8,981 tons), and Korea (7,044 tons). The top five export markets for Mandarins remain China (16,219 tons), Thailand (14,397 tons), the Philippines (6,959 tons), Indonesia (6,019 tons), and Vietnam (5,445 tons).
