The US walnut harvest is nearing its conclusion in California and the crop quality appears to be strong. 2020 walnuts are of good color and sizing, especially for the Tulare and Howard varieties. The record crop and competition from China are having some negative pressure on in-shell pricing, but it appears US prices have now leveled out from earlier in the harvest.
