On April 18, 2022, in Hatay, Turkey, the 'Effective Use of Agricultural Lands Project' distributed 200,000 sage seedlings to farmers across eight districts, as part of a larger initiative to boost the production of medicinal aromatic plants. This distribution event, held at the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, aims to generate approximately 4 million liras from the sage tea production, creating a significant economic opportunity for local farmers. The project, which has already executed six projects this year and is in its second phase, is designed to enhance collaboration between farmers, producers, and traders in the medicinal aromatic plant industry.
