Turkey: 65,000 tons of dry beans and kidney beans are expected in Niğde

Ranking first in Turkey in the production of dry beans and kidney beans, Niğde is expected to yield approximately 65 thousand tons this year. The harvest season has started in the city, which supplies 23 percent of the dry bean production and 70 percent of the red kidney beans in Turkey. Niğde Chamber of Agriculture President Veli Edge told Anadolu Agency (AA) that Niğde ranks first in dry bean production.
