[Korean Farmers and Fisherfolk Newspaper, Reporter U Jeong-soo] The Garak Branch of the Korea Agricultural and Fisheries Products Wholesale Market Corporation Association and the Nonghyup Garak Auction House, together with the Korea Rural Hope Foundation, conducted an 'Education to Improve Consumer Awareness of Agricultural Product Distribution Structure' for consumers. This event was organized to correct consumers' misunderstandings about the agricultural product distribution process and to clearly communicate the role of public wholesale markets. This education was a program utilizing the 'Garak Mutual Aid Fund' featuring the Garak Branch and the Nonghyup Garak Auction House, and it was held in two sessions: on November 21 with the Seoul South-Central Nonghyup and on November 25 at the Changbi Seokyo Building. The education included the results of a 'Survey on Agricultural Product Distribution Awareness' in which 813 consumers participated.
