So far this marketing season, the Belgians have already bought 321,000 tons of potatoes. That is considerably more than the position at the end of March 2022. Germany bought fewer potatoes this marketing season, which started in July 2022, than the year before. In March, 6,500 tons of Dutch potatoes went to our eastern neighbours. Due to the purchase of 6,700 tons of potatoes in March, the intermediate position is 40,000 tons. Last sales season that was still 32,000 tonnes at the same measurement moment.
