The national government, through the Evaluation Committee of the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI), announced today the approval of the "Terminal Timbúes" project, the first port initiative in the country to formally adhere to this promotion regime. The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, confirmed the approval and highlighted through a message on the social network X that this is the ninth RIGI project approved at the national level and the first for the province of Santa Fe. The investment, by the specialized company Terminales y Servicios S.A. (TyS), will exceed 290 million dollars and will be strategically located in the town of Timbúes, north of Rosario, on the Paraná River. Minister Caputo's announcement specified an investment of USD 277 million, while the company detailed that the figure will exceed 290 million.
