These provisions are stipulated in the National Food Agency Regulation (Perbadan) No 11/2022 concerning Reference Purchase Prices at the Producer Level and Sales Reference Prices at the Consumer Level for Soybean, Shallot, Red Chili Pepper, Curly Red Chili, Beef/Buffalo Meat Commodities, and Sugar Consumption. Which was set by the Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Arief Prasetyo Adi on December 20, 2022. This regulation applies from the date of promulgation, 20 December 2022. Arief said the reference price was set to provide certainty about the purchase price of farmers' and breeders' crops.
