With the aim of strengthening fruit production in the district of Coyllurqui, Apurímac region, the district municipality delivered 900 grafted avocado plants to the agrarian associations Virgen del Carmen, Vallecito, Los Kukis, and Sumac Tika, belonging to the community of Pfaco, as part of the progress of the Frutales Project. In a complementary manner, the project's technical team has been providing permanent support to the producers, carrying out field supervisions and direct monitoring of the installation of the plantations, in order to guarantee adequate crop management and optimal development of the plants. The event was attended by Ing. César Augusto Ortiz de Zevallos, manager of Economic Development; Ing. Fidel Sullcahuamán, project resident; as well as the technical team and the producers of the beneficiary associations.
