Brazil's sugar and molasses exports experienced a significant decrease in the first half of December 2024, with a total of 1,162,934.4 tons, marking a 38.7% reduction compared to the same period in 2023. This downturn resulted in a 44.5% drop in the country's average revenue, with the daily average export value falling to US$ 56,580.8 thousand from US$ 102,017.1 thousand in December 2023. Furthermore, the price of sugar and molasses exports decreased by 9.6%, from US$ 538/ton to US$ 486.5/ton.
