Bolivia and Peru have signed an agreement to restart the export of Peruvian agricultural products to Bolivia, including potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, grapes, onions, and avocados. The deal, signed at the Border Binational Attention Center - Desaguadero, involves Bolivia reissuing import permits and resuming border inspections. A meeting is scheduled for October 11 to continue the Binational Plan of Ilo. Miguel Quevedo, the head of Senasa, stressed the importance of adhering to phytosanitary agreements and international standards.
