The Chairman of the Chamber of Butchers, Chicken and Fish Meat Sellers in Turkey, Saruhan Yağmur, has proposed a plan to reduce chicken prices by 25 to 30 percent. This decision is in response to the price increase due to the tanning packaging system. Yağmur believes that removing this system will benefit both consumers and traders. He also suggested that traders be given the authority to cut the chicken, which will result in lower prices for customers.
