A unique farm in northwestern Germany, owned by the Marquard family, is preparing to sell camel milk throughout Germany after obtaining a European manufacturer's number. The farm, located in the Luneburg Hollow in Lower Saxony, is home to 60 one-humped and two-humped camels. Milk collection involves a special apparatus and is limited to eight one-humped camels per day, producing 2-5 liters of milk each. The cost of a one-liter bottle of camel milk will be 11 euros.
