Canary Islands calls for aid for producers of certain fodder crops

The Official Bulletin of the Canary Islands (BOC) published on November 25 an Order by which aid is called for the 2026 campaign for Producers of certain fodder crops. This aid is part of the Community Program for Support of Agricultural Productions in the Canary Islands (POSEI). This subsidy includes producers of wheat, barley, oats, rye, corn, buckwheat, peas, broad beans, lupins, vetch, alfalfa, Sudan grass, ryegrass, tagasaste, and other forage crops. The beneficiaries of these aids are the producers of the Canary Islands of the following fodder crops, intended for animal feed: wheat, barley, oats, rye, corn, buckwheat, peas, broad beans, lupins, vetch, alfalfa, Sudan grass, ryegrass, tagasaste, and other forage crops, who meet the condition of active farmer. Amount and deadline for submission The maximum unit amount of the aid amounts to 600 euros per hectare.
