Capal incorporates Coopagrícola and expands its operations in the Campos Gerais region.

Capal Cooperativa Agroindustrial has officially incorporated Coopagrícola and expanded its services to producers in Paraná. Starting this week, the cooperative will operate branches in Ponta Grossa, Palmeira, Ivaí, Ipiranga, Campo Largo, and Irati, in the Campos Gerais region. The transaction was finalized at the Extraordinary General Meeting. At the meeting, the directors presented details of the negotiation, clarified doubts, and validated the members' vote. With the incorporation, Capal adds three grain receiving units, agricultural supply stores, 376 active members, 44 hectares of cultivated land, and a storage capacity of 116.080 tons. Founded in 1962, Coopagrícola operates in the marketing of grains, inputs, and seeds. Following the operation, Capal will have 29 units. Its static storage capacity exceeds 717 tons of grain.
