Since 2021, the Public Investment Seed Program, developed by CBC Perú, the PepsiCo bottler in the country, and Aquafondo, has managed to strengthen the capabilities of local and municipal leaders in the Santa Eulalia sub-basin (Lima) in the formulation of nature-based projects that improve the sustainability of water resources. In the five years of the project's execution, the active participation of 11 communities and more than 300 participants in workshops, internships, and specialized consultations was recorded. Likewise, 9 district municipalities were involved through their Multi-Year Investment Programming Offices (OPMI), strengthening local articulation to integrate the projects into the formal processes of the public investment system. As a result of this work, 101 project ideas were consolidated, representing an investment potential of S/74.9 million.
