China has opened a new export channel for fruits and vegetables to Mongolia, shipping 18.5 tons of produce from Ganqmond Port in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The transportation route, which is approximately 1,500 kilometers shorter than the previous one, will reduce costs and maintain the freshness of the produce. The shipment included 18 types of fruits and vegetables and is destined for Mongolia's Southern Gobi province, where demand for agricultural products is increasing due to a growing population in the mining region.
