China has started a new route to export vegetables and fruits to Mongolia, starting with a shipment of 18.5 tons of produce from Ganqmod Port in Inner Mongolia. The shipment included 18 types of produce and was destined for South Gobi province, where demand for agricultural products is increasing due to a growing population. The new route, which is about 1,500 km shorter than the previous one, is expected to reduce costs and help maintain the freshness of the produce.
