In 2023, Brazil saw a record consumption of soluble coffee, marking the 8th consecutive annual increase, as reported by the Brazilian Association of the Soluble Coffee Industry (Abics). This growth is attributed to the industry's efforts in expanding product portfolios and promotional activities. Despite a 32.7% drop in imports, exports of soluble coffee saw a slight increase of 0.4%, with the US being the primary destination. However, exports to Russia, a significant client, dropped due to the ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
