In response to potential oil supply issues following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Turkey has adjusted its customs duty on oil imports for technical and industrial use until June 30. The list of affected imports includes crude, pomace, soybean, safflower, sunflower seed, and corn oils, with zero customs duty applied. Additionally, certain animal food, flours, and other oils are now allowed for export. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry highlighted that the export of various agricultural products is subject to periodic regulation. This move aims to mitigate the effects of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has impacted Turkey's crude oil imports, primarily from these countries.
