The Desert Research Center, led by Dr. Abdullah Zaghloul, has distributed 10,000 almond seedlings to farmers in North Sinai, in line with the Egypt 2030 sustainable development strategy. The seedlings will be cultivated across 67 feddans in various communities, benefiting 36 farmers. This initiative is part of a larger presidential initiative to plant 100 million trees in Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah cities. The North Sinai Research Station, under Major General Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Fadil Shousha's leadership, is supporting this by providing seedlings, extension and technical support, and advanced agricultural models to conserve natural resources and combat climate change.
