Kazakhstan is projected to increase its wheat bran exports by 36% in 2023, reaching 550 thousand tons, up from 402.9 thousand tons in 2022, as per Alikhan Talgatbek, President of the Union of Grain Processors of Kazakhstan. The main importers of Kazakhstan's wheat bran are China and Uzbekistan. In the first two months of 2023, wheat bran exports have already surged by 154.8 thousand tons, largely due to a significant increase in imports by China.
