Egypt: Exporting 7,100 tons of salt to Greece through Port El Arish

The Suez Canal Economic Zone announced the continuation of salt exports to Europe through the sea port of El-Arish, where the ship ANT, coming from Turkey, flying the Vanto flag, a length of 99.8 meters and a draft of 6.5 meters, was received to ship 4900 tons of salt to Greece. The port also received the ship ERDOGAN SENKAYA, flying the Turkish flag, with a length of 111 meters and a draft of 6.5 meters, to ship 2,200 tons of salt to Greece. The authority stated in a statement that with the arrival of these two ships, they are considered the first two ships to be received by the port this year, as El Arish port is the sea port for exporting Sinai's packaged and raw products, which creates direct and indirect job opportunities for the people of the governorate and pushes the development process in the Sinai Peninsula.
