The European Union is one of Vietnam's strategic export markets for agricultural products, and since the Vietnam - European Union Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) took effect, there has been a significant increase in agricultural export turnover to the EU market. However, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports to the EU remain proportionally small compared to its potential, and the EU market imposes strict regulations on pesticide residues, with 60% of warnings related to this issue. Vietnamese agricultural export enterprises need to focus on complying with EU regulations and enhancing their products' value to expand and conquer more export markets.
