The Chamber of Commerce of Brazil-Canada (CCBC) reports that exports of goods classified under the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur 'Coffee, tea, mate and spices' ranked 6th in exports to Canada in Q4 2021, with a total of nearly US$ 111.2 million, which is 2.3% of Brazil's total exports to Canada. The majority of this total, 99%, was unroasted, non-decaffeinated coffee beans, making up 2.2% of Canada's total imports. Pepper (of the Piper genus), neither crushed nor powdered, made up the remaining 0.007% of the total exports.
