In Ukraine, the feed corn market last week was characterized by a downward price trend, writes APK-Inform.
The beginning of the harvest campaign in the country and some decrease in demand from domestic consumers exerted pressure on prices. Most buyers showed little interest in purchasing, waiting for the arrival of new crop grain offers.
The first 0.5 thousand hectares of crops were threshed in the Cherkasy region, collecting 1.9 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 41.6 q/ha.
Feed corn prices last week decreased by 200-300 UAH/t, mostly fixed within the range of 9800-10600 UAH/t CPT and only in the southern region reaching 11200 UAH/t CPT.
