CPC, one of Australia's biggest cattle companies, surprised many last year with its big plunge into sheep After buying the MacLachlan family's Rawlinna , which famously comprises just over a million hectares, or 2,585,520 acres, Guy Hands' CPC also snapped up Nullarbor neighbour Madura Plains 711,638ha (1,758,496 acres). CPC owns and operates 12 station aggregations across Australia with two feedlots in Indonesia. Across more than six million hectares of land, CPC now has more than 400,000 head of cattle, more than 40,000 sheep and 50,000 goats.
