Fruit imports by Paraná increased in 2025, according to the Conjunctural Bulletin released this Thursday (5) by the Department of Rural Economy of the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Supply. Data from the Brazilian Agribusiness Foreign Trade Statistics indicate a disbursement of US$ 84.1 million for the acquisition of 69.7 thousand tons of fruit throughout the year. The purchases had as their main origins Argentina, Chile, Italy, Spain, and the United States, with a focus on apples, pears, grapes, kiwis, nuts, and chestnuts. These five countries and these products accounted for 82.0% of the imported value, equivalent to US$ 69.0 million, and 86.8% of the volume, with 60.5 thousand tons, within the set of 22 fruits acquired from 29 supplier countries.
