Gyeonggi Province is strengthening its preparedness measures for livestock farmers in preparation for winter to ensure the safety management of livestock facilities and prevent livestock damage. The province has pushed for the installation of supports in 213 old and vulnerable facilities, the replacement of weak structures, the installation of insulation facilities, and the covering of water supply facilities, among other pre-emptive facility inspections and remedial actions to prepare for disaster situations. Moreover, the province will operate a "Livestock Disaster Response Situation Room" until March 15 of next year to respond swiftly to livestock disasters. The Livestock Disaster Response Situation Room is composed of four divisions: the General Support Team, the Facility Support Team, the Environmental Management Team, and the Situation Management Team.
