Güllü Gürler, a farmer in Antalya's Aksu district, has seen high demand for dragon fruits, with sales mainly to hotels. The fruit, which is resistant to organic feeding and needs less soil fertilizer, is also preferred for its high profit margin and health benefits. It is sold domestically and was previously sold in Russia and Ukraine. The price has dropped from 120 TL per piece to 100 TL per kilo.
