The company is contributing to the competitiveness of the Spanish agricultural sector through innovation, environmental care, and local supply. It is also working towards its ambition of being carbon neutral by 2040 by promoting sustainable proximity crops and collaborating with local farmers. Heineken Spain has already achieved 74.7% of its raw materials being sourced from sustainable crops and aims to reach 100%.
