The producers are doing their part with dedication and sacrifice, facing difficulties and, at times, receiving hostility. Despite the obstacles, we remain firm in our commitment to rice production,” he highlights. Nunes emphasized that processing must respect the correct classification of the product. “It is not a time to seek undue financial advantages, as this practice, besides being unfair to competitors, is a crime against the consumer, harms the product, and leads to the self-destruction of the sector. We will intensify inspections and advise consumers to verify the type of packaged rice,” he stresses.
