Huancavelica: Maintenance of 9.5 km of rural road begins in the district of Roble

With the aim of improving rural connectivity and strengthening lawful economic activities, the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), in agreement with the District Municipality of Roble, Tayacaja province (Huancavelica), has begun the periodic maintenance work on 9.54 kilometers of unpaved rural road. The intervention, financed by Devida and executed by the local government, has an investment of S/383,859. The work includes the formation of the platform with granular material, profiling, subgrade compaction, roadside ditch conditioning, installation of traffic signs, and the training of local road maintenance committees. This activity will directly benefit 338 families from the populated centers of Balcon Alto, Cedro Pampa, and San Lorenzo, who will now be able to transport their agricultural products such as avocado, passion fruit, chili, and coffee more easily, access basic services, and strengthen their family economy.
