The article highlights the economic revival of orange farming in Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang province, Vietnam, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The shift to VietGAP standards and geographical indication registration for Ham Yen oranges in 2012 led to higher quality produce and a successful brand. Despite challenges like poor harvests and low market demand for fresh oranges during the pandemic, the sector adapted by introducing dried oranges, with Yen Lam Green Agriculture Cooperative becoming a significant player in the market. The cooperative plans to expand dried orange production and tea bag processing, supported by provincial trade promotion strategies to expand distribution networks both domestically and internationally.
