Jeju embarks on dairy industry innovation with AI.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Jeju Technopark have been selected for the final round of the 'AI Autonomous Manufacturing Leading Project' organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and will push for the digital transformation of the fermented milk manufacturing process, according to an announcement. The selected task is 'Development of AI-based manufacturing process optimization technology for quality control of small-batch, multi-variety dairy products' and is scheduled to be carried out from this month until December 2029. The project will involve Jeju Milk, a leading fermented milk company in Jeju, applying artificial intelligence technology to the entire process from raw milk production to collection and processing.
