The agricultural and food industry of Jeonnam Province has once again confirmed its competitiveness and status on a national stage by achieving successive award-winning results in the fields of traditional food and rural complex industries. According to Jeonnam Province, in the 'Republic of Korea Kimchi Quality Evaluation Contest', which is the most prestigious domestic kimchi evaluation event co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), Saebyeok Farm Co., Ltd. from Jangan County received the grand prize. By being recognized for its traditional fermentation technology and thorough quality management capabilities, it announced the excellence of Jeonnam's kimchi to the entire country. The production of Korean food masters also continued. Following last year's Damyang representative, Jo Seong-ae, who became a master with her rice vinegar manufacturing technology, this year, Boseong's Kim Young-min, the representative, became a master with traditional balloon flower vinegar manufacturing.
