The applicants are the principal and co-principal of agricultural or fisheries businesses registered in the province who have resided in the province from January 1 of last year until the application date. Applications can be submitted at the town or township office, neighborhood administrative welfare center, or through the 'Nong-eup-e-ji' website. This year, the allowance amounts are 600,000 won for single-person households and 700,000 won for married couple households. These amounts are increased by 300,000 won and 100,000 won, respectively, compared to last year. Those with a comprehensive income of over 370 million won from non-agricultural and non-fisheries sources, those who have violated agricultural laws, and those who have improperly received subsidies are excluded from receiving the allowance. The city plans to review the requirements and objection procedures, and to issue the allowance in cash by June. Prepaid cards will be issued to those who have difficulty using bank accounts. A city official said, "We will make efforts to promote the program to ensure that no eligible farmers are left out."
