Kernel among potential participants in the privatization auction of OPZ

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has re-listed the Odesa Port Chemical Plant (OPZ) for privatization—one of the largest chemical enterprises in the country. Kernel has reported that it is considering participating in the auction, according to "ProAgro Group." OPZ, located in the city of Yuzhne on the Black Sea coast, specializes in the production of ammonia, urea, and the transshipment of chemical products, although production is currently halted. However, the enterprise has its own ammonia pipeline, port infrastructure, and rail connections, making it strategically important for the export of fertilizers. The State Property Fund plans to hold an auction with an open price, the date of which will be announced after the completion of the preparatory procedures.
