"In Poland, in the period of eleven months of 2020, despite the downturn in the global milk market, mainly as a result of restrictions related to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, revenues from the export of dairy products obtained by the domestic dairy industry were at a level similar to that recorded in a very good 2019 ", the report reads. According to preliminary data of the Ministry of Finance, in the period January-November 2020 the value of exported Polish dairy products amounted to over EUR 2.1 billion (PLN 9.5 billion). At the same time, the value of import of this assortment amounted to nearly EUR 1 billion (PLN 4.4 billion), by 1 percent. less than a year earlier. The positive balance of trade in dairy products in the eleven months of 2020 was at the level of over EUR 1.1 billion (PLN 5.1 billion), by 1 percent. higher than last year.
