Lima: Microreservoir delivered to agricultural producers in Calpa of Peru

The Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Lima inaugurated a microreservoir with geomembrane in Arcata, which has a storage capacity of 5,170 cubic meters of water. This project will benefit 50 agricultural producers from the town of Calpa, located in the district of Cochamarca, province of Oyón. The work was carried out in a coordinated manner between the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Lima (DRAL), the municipality of Cochamarca and the community of Arcata. The DRAL acquired and installed 2,339 m² of geotextile and 2,339 m² of geomembrane, while the district municipality was in charge of excavating the land.
