In November 2022, Poland experienced a significant increase in the purchase and selling prices of various livestock and poultry. Pig purchase prices rose by 4.5% from the previous month and 3% from the previous week, reaching a 73% increase from the previous year. Selling prices of pork also increased by 69% compared to the previous year. On the other hand, beef purchase prices saw a slight decrease, while the EU average and Polish prices remained higher than other European markets. Chicken purchase prices increased by 0.4% from the previous month, and selling prices saw a decrease of 3% from the previous week but an increase of 11% from the previous month. Turkeys and fattened geese also saw price increases. These changes represent significant fluctuations in the market compared to the previous year.
