Peru and Bolivia have agreed to reopen trade in agricultural products, including onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and other crops. The decision was made after a technical meeting at the Border Binational Attention Center - Desaguadero, where sanitary and phytosanitary authorities from both countries signed an agreement to restore the commercial flow. The first agreement details that Bolivia will reissue import permits and conduct border inspections for the smooth entry of these products. The Binational Plan of Ilo is also set to be resumed on October 11.
