Morocco is the third-largest supplier of peppers in the EU

Moroccan pepper is gaining popularity on the European market. Morocco exported 139.4 million kilograms of paprika to the EU in the 2021/2022 season. According to Icex-Eurostat data, these exports were worth EUR 150.8 million last year. According to Icex-Eurostat data, quoted by the Spanish news portal Hortoinfo, Moroccan pepper exports to the EU were valued at EUR 150.8 million in the last year. The data was collected between September 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022.
