The bottled oil exports made up 31% of this total. The peak production month was May, which led to a surge in exports, with the highest volume of 26.1 thousand tons in May. Kazakhstan expanded its sunflower oil markets, including new ones like Turkey, Afghanistan, and the European Union, in addition to the traditional ones like China, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. The country also saw a nearly doubling of sunflower meal shipments, from 87 thousand tons to 158 thousand tons, with the European Union showing a high demand for it.
