According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" on February 2 was 130.12, down 0.55 points from last Friday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 133.04, down 0.64 points from last Friday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price for pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 18.44 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from last Friday; beef was 65.95 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday; mutton was 63.84 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from last Friday; eggs were 8.69 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from last Friday; and broilers were 17.35 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.56 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.88 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Friday. Carp was 19.45 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday; crucian carp was 14.20 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from last Friday; white sturgeon was 10.26 yuan/kg, down 2.6% from last Friday; and large ribbonfish was 42.90 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from last Friday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with price increases compared to last Friday were asparagus, bananas, ginger, pumpkins, and winter melons, with increases of 2.9%, 2.7%, 2.5%, 2.4%, and 1.7% respectively; the top five with price decreases were watermelons, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes, and cucumbers, with decreases of 5.0%, 4.0%, 3.4%, 3.3%, and 3.3% respectively.
