Unusual rains have caused significant damage to crops, particularly mangoes and onions, in several subdivisions of Maharashtra due to heavy rainfall over the past two days. The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in the coming days, exacerbating the situation for growers. The thunderstorms have also resulted in the loss of blossoms and small fruits. The rain is expected to extend to other districts such as Jabaa, Ahmednagar, Akola, Buldhana, and Amravati, further impacting agricultural activities in the region.
